Expansion module for MPI

Connects your EXTER panel to an MPI network

The EM-MPI module enables your EXTER operator panel to communicate with an MPI network. This compact module is easily mounted on the back of your EXTER panel. The module supports the MPI protocol and has a D-Sub 9-pin connector.

• Connection to the PLC can be made by means of a standard Profibus cable.
• The module features support for baud rate up to 12 Mbit.

All settings and configurations, e.g. of driver and bus addresses, can be made quickly via the Information Designer configuration software. The driver also includes an import module that can be used to import the tags used in the PLC programming tool.

The operator panel range EXTER K30 to EXTER T150 supports the EM-MPI module.
